Education

A diverse faculty trained in psychoanalytic institutes nationwide draw from their varied backgrounds and professional experiences. Still, they share some fundamental attributes –distinguished reputations, respect for their peers, scholarly contributions, and excellence in teaching. They promote intellectual curiosity and respect for diverse ideas in a collegial learning environment.

Oregon Psychoanalytic Center does not teach any single school of psychoanalytic thought. Our training programs include all major psychoanalytic theories, from classical to contemporary. Classes are structured to provide opportunities to contrast traditional and newer theories and scientific research that has a bearing on psychoanalytic thought. To enhance the learning enterprise, our students have access to an array of resources, tools, and opportunities to strengthen and support their professional and personal lives.
